The aim of the project
This project aims to develop an integrated methodology for a long-term strategy for the national transport sector in Iraq that includes regulatory, developmental and integration policies for the transport sector and other urban sectors. The proposed strategy aims to organize future development processes for the sector by coordinating the work of the bodies supervising the transport sector. The strategy may also include proposed integrated steps for the development processes of the transport sector through effective programming of these processes and directing them towards the most effective sectors and sites. The project is to rebuild and maintain Al-Fayhaa Bridge, which was previously damaged by wars that led to its exit from service. The project includes the preparation and installation of iron structures of various sizes and dimensions with metal sheet bases in addition to the installation of And installing wooden beams under the track to ensure the passage of the train from Baghdad to Umm Qasr for the purpose of returning the bridge to service and the passage of trains returning to the Ministry of Transport.
